Princess Household Appliances B.V., a Dutch firm specialising in small domestic appliances, was established by its former owner Aad Ouborg in 1994. Thanks to its highly distinctive approach "Business is Entertainment‟, the company has grown explosively. Princess is the world's largest provider of small chrome domestic appliances.
The best ideas originate because all of a sudden you see something that you did not see before. That is why Princess products are successful. Devised and developed one by one based on insight and imagination. They are perfectly in line with what customers expect from product quality, ease of use and functionality. Then our customers do immediately recognise the innovations. Better still, they discover things when using them that they had never seen before in competing products.
Princess-to-Business actually works exactly in that way. To you, as an entrepreneur, the product that you use for your campaigns or that you give as gifts to your associates, have to be first-class. The majority of products that are offered in the market do more or less comply with that. But how many producers help you to think about your brand in relation to these types of products? Most of them will offer you the opportunity to place a logo. At Princess we saw this and we decided to develop promotional branding a little differently. When devising the solutions, there was one requirement: come up with ideas without placing the logo.
