Sponsorship

Princess’s sponsorship policy is on the one hand fuelled by its sense of social commitment, and on the other hand intended to enhance the reputation of the Princess brand. Where it provides sponsorship, Princess attempts to take the path less travelled, going about things in a more visible manner as a way of creating a strong relationship with various stakeholders.

The JRE Culibus

The Culibus is specially intended for children who could use a little extra attention and is an initiative of Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe (JRE), run by the JRE Culibus Foundation. The Culibus is a huge VIP bus/gourmet restaurant on wheels, in which the JRE travels to children’s hospitals, disadvantaged neighbourhoods and charities where children can use a little support. In it the children are served a gourmet meal and JRE aims to use the Culibus to treat disadvantaged children to something special while simultaneously drawing attention to healthy and nutritious food and how JRE can play its part. The Culibus is a modern, trendy coach that has been kitted out as a top-grade mobile JRE kitchen, among other things, and it ensures that disadvantaged children, or those requiring help, have a fantastic day.

The Victim Support Fund

During a special evening for the Victim Support Fund at Chez Cas in 2006, the idea to organise an annual event for the Victim Support Fund was conceived. Together, Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, LL.M., and Aad Ouborg outlined a plan to organise a special, annual golf day to attract new sponsors to the Fund.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Many charitable organisations and institutions (including Villa Pardoes, the Victim Support Fund, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Emma children’s hospital gala, AMC, Stichting Aandacht Helpt, Stichting Hulphond, the Red Cross Gala, Stichting Roemeense Kinderhulp, Woonvorm de Ark, and Spieren voor Spieren) receive support from Princess, both financially as well as in the form of products.
