1. Is my hand mixer protected against overloading?
If the appliance is overloaded, the motor will automatically turn off. If the engine stops or runs slowly, turn it off so it can cool. After a cooling period of about ten minutes you can turn it back on.
2. What are the blades of my mixer made of?
The blades of the mixer and chopping accessories are made of stainless steel.
3. Are the mincer and accessories of my mixer dishwasher safe?
Apart from the engine, the accessories of the mixer, the mincer and the blades are dishwasher safe. The engine of the appliance, the lid of the mincer and the handle of the hand blender are NOT dishwasher safe and should not be immersed in water. Use only a damp cloth to clean these.
4. How do I clean the plastic parts of my hand mixer?
Some foods (e.g. carrots), can cause the plastic parts to become discoloured. Try rubbing the stains with vegetable oil before you wash them.
5. In which bowls can the hand mixer be used?
Any dish, bowl or glass is suitable for a hand mixer, provided the whisks/kneading hooks can rotate freely and the bowls are scratch-resistant.
