General Questions:

1.    How do I remove crumbs from my Princess toaster?
The easiest way to remove crumbs from your Princess toaster is as follows: take your toaster to a trash bin and pull out the crumb tray at the bottom of the appliance. The crumbs can be removed immediately this way. Vigorously shake the toaster (upside down) back and forth over the trash to remove the crumbs left in the toaster.

2.    How do I clean my toaster?
Remove the plug from the socket prior to cleaning or servicing and allow the appliance to fully cool. Fortunately, toasters do not require very much maintenance. You should however occasionally clean the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Crumbs will collect at the bottom and must occasionally be removed by emptying the crumb tray or opening the crumb door and emptying the appliance by shaking it.

3.    I am having trouble removing the bread from the toaster.
The lift button can still be pulled up a little at its highest position, which will lift the toast a bit higher and make it easy to remove.

4.    Can I toast different thicknesses of bread?
Yes, the bread clips automatically adapt to the thickness of the bread and centre the bread relative to the heating elements.

5.    Where can I best place my toaster?
It is important to place your toaster in a stable location, away from other heat sources. It is also important to ensure that your toaster can not be splashed with water. Bread is in fact flammable, so do not use your toaster in the vicinity of flammable materials such as curtains, bookshelves, furniture, etc. Make sure there is enough space around the appliance.

6.    When should I not use my toaster?
Do not use the toaster if:
- the power cord is defective
- the toaster has fallen, is clearly visibly damaged or defective.
Have a defective or damaged toaster repaired by an authorized professional in order to prevent accidents.

7.    What should I do if bread is stuck in the toaster?
If bread becomes wedged between the bread clips, disconnect the power cord, wait for the toaster to cool off and only then remove the bread.
Do not use metal objects (spoons, knives, etc.), as this may cause damage that can later lead to a short-circuit. Excessively thick, irregular-sized bread can block the lift mechanism. This prevents the thermostat from switching off, which can potentially lead to the bread burning.
Do not use the toaster and do not leave it switched on without being present.

8.    What types of bread can I toast?
Most bread types are suitable for toasting. Older bread toasts faster than fresh bread. Frozen bread takes longer to toast and sometimes gives an irregular result. The adjustable thermostat allows you to adjust the degree of browning to your own taste and desire.
