Curry chicken slices

Ingredients:

• a few chicken fillets cut in strips
• salt
• pepper
• 1 tsp curry powder
• ½ tsp tomato paste
• baking butter
• 150g (5¼ oz) cleaned mange-touts
• 250g (½ lb) precooked potato slices

Preparation:

Mix the chicken strips with a teaspoon of salt and the curry powder Heat a little baking butter in the pan(s) Add the chicken strips when the baking butter begins to brown and stir-fry them for several minutes until done Add the tomato paste and let the entire mixture fry for 1 minute. Then add ¼ cup hot water and let the gravy simmer a moment. Bring the water in the steamer to a boil. Place the cleaned mange-touts on the rack above the steam, put the lid on the pan and steam the mange-touts for 5-9 minutes until cooked (the shorter the crunchier)

Tip: Tasty with baked potatoes
